Description

Among the lightest bolt-action rifles available, the Sako 90 Peak is built for the discerning mountain hunter. Its exceptional lightness comes from Sako’s carbon-fiber RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) stock, a process borrowed from the aerospace industry that bonds resin to carbon filaments in precision molds to create a multi-layered 3D mesh. The result is a remarkably strong, lightweight stock that resists sustained recoil and supports consistent accuracy. The RTM stock also features a textured surface for secure handling in wet or cold conditions, an ergonomic palm swell for a confident grip, and a raised cheek piece for comfortable, repeatable sight alignment.

  • One of the lightest bolt-action rifles—excellent for long approaches and mountain hunting

  • Carbon-fiber RTM stock: aerospace-grade strength with minimal weight

  • Multi-layered 3D mesh construction withstands heavy recoil and enhances accuracy

  • Textured finish for better grip in adverse weather

  • Ergonomic palm swell for a stable hold

  • Raised cheek piece for consistent, comfortable cheek weld
