The AGM Taipan V2 Thermal Monocular Series is the latest evolution of one of the most extensive thermal lineups in the industry. Each model pairs multiple objective lens options with a high-performance 256-resolution, 12-micron <35mK thermal detector, delivering impressive clarity and target detection.

The Taipan V2 introduces major upgrades users have long requested, including the move from a built-in battery to a single removable/rechargeable 18650, and a new 90° tilt sensor that automatically powers off the display to preserve battery life. It also brings a variety of software refinements and core features found across AGM’s premium thermal lineup: F1.0 optics, 50Hz refresh rate, 16GB internal storage, Wi-Fi for the AGM Connect App, USB-C external power capability, four color palettes, and an IP67 waterproof rating. A widened rubber eyepiece makes long viewing sessions comfortable while taking full advantage of the 1280 LCOS display.

Designed as a true all-around thermal tool, the Taipan V2 excels in hunting, livestock protection, law enforcement, search & rescue, boating, camping, and other outdoor applications. Every model is backed by AGM’s 5-year transferable warranty, ensuring long-term confidence in the field.
