Description
The Browning BAR MK IV Speed is a gas-operated, semi-automatic rifle in .243 Winchester with a 22-inch fluted barrel and a 1-in-10 twist. Capacity is 4+1, with one 4-round magazine, and the rifle has no sights. It has a Smoked Bronze Cerakote finish, which the maker says protects better than traditional bluing, and a lightweight alloy receiver that is drilled and tapped. The OVIX camo composite stock has overmolded gripping surfaces, a raised SoftFlex cheekpad that is shim-adjustable for cast on/off and drop at the comb, an Inflex recoil pad and QD sling cups. The safety is a two-position crossbolt, overall length is 44.125 inches and weight is 7 lbs. 5 oz.
