Description
The Cimarron 1894 Short Carbine is a lever-action rifle chambered in .30-30 Win. It has a 20-inch blued round steel barrel and a fixed walnut stock. The maker says the John Browning design was introduced in 1894 and was the first American-made repeating rifle to chamber smokeless powder rounds. It adds that nickel steel barrels and the .30-30 came in 1895, and that firearms historians have called the Model 1894 the ultimate lever-action design.
