Description
The CVA Cascade Varmint Hunter is a bolt-action rifle for 6.5 Creedmoor with a 20-inch heavy sporter barrel, threaded 5/8x24. It has a Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish and a synthetic Kryptek Highlander stock with an adjustable cheek riser, adjustable length of pull and a flatter forend. The magazine holds 10 rounds, the safety is a two-position thumb safety, and the rate of twist is 1-in-8. The rifle is 42 inches long and weighs 8.9 lbs. The maker says it is designed for predator and varmint hunters who need repeatable precision and rapid follow-ups, and lists a 20 MOA Picatinny rail.
