Description
The Howa M1500 Mini Action is a right-hand bolt action rifle chambered in 22 ARC with a 22-inch threaded barrel, 1/2x28 thread pitch and a 1-in-7 twist. It uses one 5-round magazine and has a matte finish, a black HTI synthetic stock, a drilled and tapped receiver and a three-position thumb safety. The overall length is 41.5 inches and the weight is 6.4 lbs. The maker says the Mini Action has a chamber and bolt that are shorter than regular short actions, with a shorter bolt throw for faster reloads. The maker also names a drawn steel barrel and sling swivel studs.
