The Howa M1500 Hogue is a full-size bolt action rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. It has a 24-inch blued heavy barrel with a 1/2x28 thread pattern and a 1-in-8 inch twist, a matte blue finish and a drilled and tapped stainless steel receiver. The stock is a black Hogue OverMolded synthetic with sling swivel studs, and the rifle is right hand. It has a HACT two-stage trigger and a three-position thumb safety, measures 43.5 inches overall and weighs 8.2 lbs. The maker says the Hogue pillar bedded Overmolded stock gives superior fit, function and accuracy, with a cold hammer forged barrel and a forged bolt and receiver.
