Description
The Howa M1500 Mini Action Hunter is a bolt action rifle chambered in 6.5 Grendel. It has a 20-inch black carbon fiber wrapped barrel with a 1/2x28 thread pattern and a 1-in-8 inch twist, and a black steel receiver that is drilled and tapped. It holds 5+1 rounds with one 5-round magazine, and has a fixed walnut stock, a three-position thumb safety and sling swivel studs. The rifle is right hand, 39.5 inches overall and weighs 6.4 lbs. The maker says the chamber and bolt are shorter than on regular short actions, with a shorter bolt throw for faster reloads.
