Description
The Howa M1500 Hogue is a long action bolt action rifle chambered in 7mm PRC. It has a 24-inch barrel threaded 1/2x28 with a 1-in-8 inch twist, a matte blue finish and a drilled and tapped receiver. The green Hogue Overmolded synthetic stock goes with a three-position safety, a hinged floorplate magazine and a two-stage HACT trigger. The rifle is right hand, 44 inches overall and weighs 7.8 lbs. The maker says the Hogue pillar bedded Overmolded stock gives superior fit, function and accuracy, with a cold hammer forged barrel and a forged bolt and receiver.
