Savage Arms Axis 2 .22-250 Rem 20" Black 33149

The Savage Arms Axis 2 is a left-hand, bolt-action rifle chambered in .22-250 Rem with a 20-inch carbon steel threaded barrel (1/2x28), a matte black oxide finish and a 1-in-12 twist. It has a drilled and tapped receiver and a fixed gray synthetic stock with a pistol grip and ambidextrous palm swells, and it has no sights. It feeds from a 4-round detachable box magazine for a capacity of 4+1, and has a user-adjustable AccuTrigger, adjustable length of pull, thread-in headspacing and a 2-position top tang safety. Overall length is 40.5 inches and weight is 6.7 lbs. The maker says the updated bolt handle has a sleek ergonomic design that helps enhance control and comfort, especially in rain or cold weather.
