Savage Arms Axis 2 .308 Win 20" Black 33117

The Savage Arms Axis 2 is a right-hand bolt-action rifle in .308 Win with a 20-inch threaded barrel that has a 5/8x24 thread pattern and a twist rate of 1 in 10 inches. It has a matte black oxide finish, a drilled and tapped receiver, an OD green fixed synthetic stock with a pistol grip, and no sights. Capacity is 4+1 with one 4-round detachable box magazine, the safety is a 2-position top tang, and it is 40.5 inches long and weighs 6.7 lbs. It has a user-adjustable AccuTrigger, adjustable length of pull, thread-in headspacing, and a stock with ambidextrous palm swells. The maker says the redesigned Axis 2 offers hunters better out-of-the-box performance, and that the updated bolt handle helps enhance user control and comfort, especially in adverse conditions like rain or cold weather.
