Savage Arms Axis 2 400 Legend 20" Black 32133

The Savage Arms Axis 2 Compact is a left-hand, bolt-action rifle with a 20-inch heavy sporter barrel, a matte finish, and a carbon steel receiver. It holds 4+1 rounds with one 4-round detachable box magazine, and has a green synthetic stock, a 2-position top-tang safety, and no sights. The receiver is drilled and tapped, the twist rate is 1 in 16 inches, overall length is 39.5 inches, and weight is 6.3 pounds. The maker says the redesigned Axis 2 Compact offers hunters even better out-of-the-box performance, with improved ergonomics, a user-adjustable AccuTrigger, and thread-in headspacing. The rifle also has integral swivel studs, and the maker says the updated bolt handle helps enhance control and comfort, especially in adverse conditions like rain or cold weather.
