Savage Arms Axis 2 5.56 NATO 20" Black 33147

The Savage Arms Axis 2 is a left-hand, bolt-action rifle with a 20-inch threaded barrel in a matte black oxide finish. It has a 1/2x28 thread pattern and a twist rate of 1 in 7 inches, and it holds 4+1 rounds with one 4-round detachable box magazine. The stock is gray synthetic with a pistol grip, the safety is a 2-position top-tang, there are no sights, and the receiver is drilled and tapped. Overall length is 40.5 inches and weight is 6.7 pounds. The maker says the redesigned Axis 2 offers hunters better out-of-the-box performance, with improved ergonomics, a user-adjustable AccuTrigger, thread-in headspacing, and an updated bolt handle with a sleek ergonomic design.
