Description
The Savage Arms Axis 2 XP is a left-hand, bolt-action rifle with a 20-inch threaded barrel in a matte black oxide finish. It has a 1/2x28 thread pattern and a twist rate of 1 in 7 inches, holds 4+1 rounds with one 4-round detachable box magazine, and comes with a 3-9x40mm scope package. The stock is gray synthetic with a pistol grip, the safety is a 2-position top-tang, and the receiver is drilled and tapped. Overall length is 40.5 inches and weight is 7.6 pounds. The maker says the Axis 2 XP offers hunters even better out-of-the-box performance, with adjustable length of pull, a user-adjustable AccuTrigger, an ergonomic stock with enhanced texturing, and a contoured pistol grip.
