Savage Arms Impulse 7mm Rem Mag 24" Black 57901

The Savage Arms Impulse Mountain Hunter is a straight-pull bolt-action rifle in 7mm Rem Mag with a 24-inch threaded Proof Research carbon fiber barrel. It has a black aluminum receiver with a Picatinny rail, a Black Cerakote finish, a gray AccuStock with AccuFit, and a two-position tang safety. It holds 3+1 rounds in one 3-round detachable box magazine and has a 20 MOA rail, a 5/8x24 thread pattern, and a 1-in-9 twist. The maker says the Proof Research carbon fiber wrapped stainless steel barrel lets the Impulse reach lighter weights for higher altitude hunts, and the straight pull action gives quick follow-up shots. The rifle is drilled and tapped, 46.75 inches long, and 7.31 lbs.
