Description
The Shadow Systems U526 is a California-compliant semi-automatic 5.56 NATO rifle with a 16-inch barrel threaded 1/2x28, a 1-in-7 twist and a black nitride finish. It has a black receiver with a Picatinny rail, a proprietary furniture system, no sights, a 60-90 degree thumb safety and a two-stage duty trigger. It also has a DLC bolt carrier group and an intermediate gas system. Capacity is 10+1 rounds with one 10-round CompMag magazine, and it weighs 6.45 lbs. The maker says it is a purpose-built duty rifle for shooters who value smooth recoil consistency and long-term reliability.
