Faxon Firearms partnered with Q to develop barrels for the 8.6 Blackout (8.6 BLK) round. With an impressive 1:3 twist rate, 8.6 BLK channels rotational energy to increase on-target energy.
As with all Faxon barrels, these 8.6 BLK barrels are machined from raw bar stock at the greater Cincinnati facility. Each Faxon 8.6 BLK barrel is fully stress-relieved, air-gauge tested, magnetic particle inspected, and finished with an 11° target crown to ensure superior accuracy. Constructed from 4150 CMV, every barrel passes a battery of tests during production and is finished in salt bath nitride.
All Faxon barrels are individually checked for headspace using precision hardened gauges and are covered by the Faxon Lifetime Guarantee.
